Meal on Wheels, in conjunction with Intel volunteers, will be delivering 745 special gift items to homebound seniors this December. These special gifts will help brighten the holidays and provide a sense of community for many of our area’s isolated elders. A huge thank you goes out to the following donors:
- Home Instead Senior Care® network continued their six year tradition by donating 440 special gift bags for seniors at home. The organization teamed up with local businesses and care agencies to brighten the season for those who otherwise might not receive a gift this holiday season. - The Camellia Life Members Club for the AT&T Pioneers continued nearly two decades of holiday tradition in the cheerful form of 75 creative gift stockings.
- Ms. Truong kindly donated 30 special gift bags and cozy throws.
- Inner Wheel Club of East Sacramento graciously donated 200 warm blankets.
Meals on Wheels appreciates the support and generous donations of the many volunteers and organizations who have reached out to provide the gift of cheer this season. See more photos on the Meals on Wheels by ACC Facebook page!
Wishing everyone a safe and joyful holiday!
